South Ossetia, 2026
As order collapses in South Ossetia, the Caucasus has erupted into a high-stakes proxy vacuum. With the Russian Federation’s military heavily consumed by escalating demands in Ukraine, Moscow cannot spare troops to intervene, leaving its traditional sphere of influence fractured.
The United Nations has deployed peacekeepers to stabilize the region, but their limited mandate leaves them dangerously overstretched and unable to assert full control. Into this volatile landscape step two colliding private military forces.
On one side, Pax Armata—a Western-backed PMC funded by European interests—seeks to systematically dismantle legacy Russian control. Opposing them is ChVK Tchaikovsky, a ruthless coalition of former Wagner veterans, Serb paramilitaries, and Chechen fighters diverted from Africa for heavier, more brutal work. Tasked with inflicting unsustainable casualties on UN blue helmets, Tchaikovsky carries strict orders: make the peacekeepers' presence untenable, and give no quarter—kill, do not capture, all rival PMCs in the zone.
